EYE Exhibition

This project was a collaboration alongside designers Camilla Broome and Matilda Padbury. The poster designs for the 2022 GDES Graduating Exhibition are a celebration of our development from students to graphic designers. The organized chaos of the collages replicates the messiness of the design development process as well as the process when collaborating as ideas collide. Although the collage materials are produced by diverse methods, they come together to create something much more interesting than they would be isolated, much like this collaboration, and all the past briefs that made this exhibition possible.

Each poster has attributed a keyword that summarises each year of study- digitally refined, dual delivery, and hand-made. Alongside these words, the titles of all briefs in the course were used as collage material to reflect that this exhibition is only made possible by each year of work. The bright colours and patterns of each poster highlight the design aesthetics explored and our joyous experiences while studying this subject. We worked together and shared collage material; the process reflective of our time shared during our design studios and highlighting the importance of collaboration and feedback. Furthermore, the shared material unites the posters aesthetically.
